A former Radio and TV talk show host, Afia Schwarzenegger, has disclosed that the Chief of Staff, Frema Opare, donated a whopping sum of Ghc50,000 towards the funeral rites of her late father.
In an Instagram post, Afia also indicated that the Chief of Staff further added that after the funeral when there is any debt she can be informed.
“A good mother who does not eat leaving the children, if I had not met you where will I be? I would have been devoured by an animal. My mother Frema Opare, let me kneel down, thank you. Mum, had it not been for you how will the coffin for my dad come to Ghana. God bless you Ghc50,000 from a woman. You said Afia take and use for your funeral,” she narrated.
Her late father’s funeral was held at the KNUST in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, on March 12, 2022.
Dignitaries and celebrities including Stacy Amoateng, Tracy Boakye, Brother Sammy, Opambour among others were in attendance.
She also had a donation of Ghc4,000 from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
