Kennedy Agyapong is in Parliament to approve a budget he did not listen nor contribute towards even as the Chairman and member of some Parliamentary committees.

The Assin North Member of Parliament (MP), has been in the United States for months now on medical treatment, but he has suddenly surfaced in Parliament to approve the 2022 budget statement and economic policy.

Reports are that he was rushed into the country specifically to add up to the Majority side’s number which has been hit by some absenteeism.

Kennedy Agyapong rushed straight to Parliament.

Aside from him, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, who is the MP for Dome, Kwasi Amoako Atta MP for Abuakwa and Dokua were said to be outside the country ahead of final debate on the budget presented by Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta on 17th November 2021.

These absenteeisms are said to have led to the 5-hour delay in getting the MPs to the house for the closure of the debate on the 2022 budget and for its approval.

While Kennedy Agyapong and Amoako Atta have since rushed into the country to make up the numbers, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo and Dokua are yet to be seen.
