The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress Augustus Andrew Nana Akwasi has said the performance of the ruling party is so abysmal that nothing is currently working for them.

Speaking on a local radio station in Kumasi Wednesday, August 24, 2022, Nana Akwasi said, even the New Patriotic Party’s own communicators can no longer defend the party.

“Anybody who can defend the government now can defend the devil,” he said.

The government has been receiving bashing over the current economic hardship. The cedi has depreciated all time low against the US dollar.
