Reports emerging from government insiders are that the Trade and Industry Minister, is not well.

Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, is reported to have been flown out of the country for medical treatment abroad for some days now.

This explains his absence from the public view in recent days, ceding the space to his deputies.

Details on his true health condition remain sketchy, but while some have alleged cardiac issues, others have mentioned that Mr Kyerematen, suffered a mild stroke and had to be rushed out for a quick medical examination and treatment.

He has meanwhile set up his campaign office and deplored members, including Abubakar Saddique Boniface, former Zongo Minister and Member of Parliament for t=Madina, Nana Ohene Ntow and others as his lieutenants to be working for him, while he still holds unto the ministerial portfolio.

Many have suggested he should resign, if he is to make any meaningful impart at the contest which has Vice-President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Joe Ghartey, Agric Minister, Akoto Owusu Afrieyie, Boakye Agyarko, also vying for the 2024 NPP Presidential slot.
