The verdict is out, the man who paraded himself as the best thing this country, has ever had, will go down in history not only as the worst president of Ghana, but the worst to ever lead the united party tradition.
Instead of being a blessing, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has turn out to be a curse. If ever they were a people who have been scammed, then it is the Ghanaian people.
Since 2017, the president who talks so much but little action, has taken credit for everygood thing that has happened, until 2020, when the problem, suddenly became the cause of former president John Dramani Mahama.
After six years in office and having enjoyed all the pegs that come with the highest office of the land, he is yet to settle down and take responsibility for the mess he has created.
Akufo-Addo, rose to become president of the country on the back of lies, he lied about his character, telling us he was not corrupt and has never been corrupt. He has fortified his rise to the presidency with family and friends.
You read it here first, Nana Akufo-Addo is a tragedy in high motion, the sad reality is that, he not heading for the cliff alone but he taken with him more than 30 million Ghanaians, as well as the unborn generation.
A good leader is one who accepts his mistakes, concede that things are not going well, and by that concession, comes the help from others, who have done it before or have an idea as to how to turn things around.
President Akufo-Addo, who is not going to be on the ballot in 2024, is in the campaign mood. The president obviously terrified by his monumental failure, has for some time now telling Ghanaians, he will turn the economy around before the 2024 elections.
No one needs a witchdoctor to convince them that, the president and his government has reached its wit end. They are no surprises coming from anywhere to salvage the situation, if anything at all, it could only get worse.
The turn-around that the president is promising Ghanaians begins with action, and the president is not ready to take very unpleasant but necessary decision by first of all firing his cousin minister of finance, Ken Ofori-Atta.
Akufo-Addo has proven that has proved beyond reasonable doubt that it is a government against the people.
A sane president would have been busy trying to alleviate the sky-high prices in foodstuffs and other related matters, but not Nana Akufo-Addo, suffering is not just enough for him, we must all die.
President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party, must remember that the cane that landed on the skin of John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress in 2016, was not thrown into the Sea.
My people have a saying that, it is from the morning we know how the rest of the day will turn out. Right this moment, the morning of president Akufo-Addo, is over and there is scant evidence that we are headed in the right direction.
The chant that, his government will turn things around is not the soundbite investors, businesses and ordinary Ghanaians want to hear. They want to see an action plan with a time frame to deal with the situation.
Ghana, at this point in our history, where many countries we started with are far ahead of us, needs a president, who will not dither. One that will look his appointees no matter his relationship with them and tell them to step aside.
Ghana needs a president with an action plan, not just fantastic and sweet promises coming out of his mouth.
Mediocrity has been taken to a new height and is being celebrated, because of pandering and nepotism, Akufo-Addo, has assembled half-smart, people with penchant for corruption, no wonder the economy is where it is today.
Ghana at this juncture needs a president, yes we have one right now, yes we have one right now, but we need one with a positive attributes of decisiveness, sharp mind, a grip of the issues and one with resolute political will to turn things around.
Indecisiveness leads to self-destruct, Ghana cannot afford such ambivalence and delay in taking important decisions at a time like this.
For now, we are all convinced that the president does not have the right tools in his tool box. This is not the time for petty politics, the time to act is now.
The time for promises and half measures are long gone, the time for prayers and calling on God is not now. God gave us brains and expect us to use for the betterment of humanity.
Akufo-Addo, will be remembered as the worst president, we have ever had in the history of this country. I cannot for the life of me accept that, Ghana’s currency is the worst performing not only Africa but the world after that of Sri Lanka, this is how low the country has been sunk.
A compassionate president, will be busy trying to bring relief to his people but not Akufo-Addo. It is not just enough for Ghanaians to suffer, they all must die. That is the position of this government.
The tomorrow of Akufo-Addo, will only compound the problems of the country. Posterity will judge him right and he will be forgiven today, should he abdicate the presidency and save himself and the country, the stress we are all going through.
