TDC launches 24-Hour Prestige and Premium Service Platform

The Minister for Works and Housing, Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, has reaffirmed the government’s strong support for initiatives that align with Ghana’s Resetting Agenda, aimed at improving the lives of Ghanaians. 

He emphasized the need for collective commitment to building a nation where quality housing and efficient service delivery are not privileges but fundamental rights for all citizens.

The honorable Minister, made this assertion during the formal launch of TDC Ghana Limited’s newly introduced 24-hour Prestige and Premium Service platform in Tema.  

The newly introduced service platform offers around-the-clock access to high-quality real estate services for residents, property investors, and commercial clients. 

The service also features dedicated call centers and tiered service channels designed to improve convenience, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The launch of the 24-hour Prestige and Premium Service, marks a pivotal moment in public service innovation within the real estate sector. 

Speaking at the launch, Mr Adjei, described TDC’s initiative as ambitious and forward-looking, one that redefines public real estate service delivery in the 21st century. 

According to him, the platform not only transforms business operations but also supports the broader national vision of a prosperous, inclusive, and modern Ghana.

He noted that the 24-hour Prestige and Premium Service platform is being heralded as a transformative milestone, aligning directly with the national vision of a prosperous, inclusive, and modern Ghana under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama. 

Mr Adjei added that the initiative is seen as a vital component of a broader policy framework that seeks to revamp Ghana’s economy and public institutions through innovation, reform, and people-centered service delivery.

He pointed out that under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, the government is implementing a major initiative to advance its Resetting Agenda, a comprehensive policy framework aimed at revamping Ghana’s economy and public institutions through innovation, accountability, and reforms centered on citizens’ needs. 

This he explained that by introducing these enhanced services, TDC is not only addressing a national priority but also demonstrating its commitment to a modern, responsive, and citizen-focused public service system.

The Minister stressed that urban development and housing go beyond physical structures, shaping the lived experiences of people by fostering dignity, social equity, security, and opportunity. 

He reiterated that housing forms the foundation for thriving communities, economic growth, and social cohesion saying; TDC’s new service suite is a strategic response to the evolving needs of a rapidly urbanizing Ghana.  

He noted that the choice of Tema as the launch location holds both symbolic and substantive significance adding that as Ghana’s first planned city and a pillar of industrial development, Tema represents structured urbanization and visionary planning. 

Adjei stated that TDC Ghana Limited, a legacy institution serving the city for over six decades, continues to innovate in estate and property management as testament to its resilience and commitment to public service. 

He noted that the new platform underscores the importance of responsiveness, reliability, and convenience in public institutions saying that it affirms that citizens whether residents, investors, or business owners deserve timely, professional, and respectful engagement.

The Minister, further pointed out that beyond operational efficiency, the initiative is expected to generate employment, enhance client satisfaction, and boost investor confidence in the public housing sector. 

He added that it also aligns with the government’s ’s digital transformation goals, promoting 24/7 service accessibility across key economic sectors.

The Minister, therefore urged residents, commercial clients, and development partners to actively engage with the new platforms, including the call center and tiered service channels. 

He called for strengthened collaboration among government agencies, local authorities, and communities to build resilient, inclusive, and livable cities.

On his part, the Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd, Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, said the introduction of the 24-hour Prestige and Premium Services is designed to provide top-tier real estate solutions for clients at any time of day or night. 

He explained that under the new system, select services including property searches, certified true copies of right of entry, offer letters, and transfer declaration site plans will now be available around the clock. 

According to Mr Nunekpeku, clients will also benefit from 24-hour support, including midnight inquiries, weekend walkthroughs, and real-time issue resolution through a dedicated hub accessible via phone, email, and chat.

He reiterated that the Prestige tier offers exclusive conveniences such as home or office document delivery, on-site engagements by appointment, virtual support, and dedicated relationship managers ideal for executives, diaspora clients, and high-net-worth individuals adding that the Premium service allows clients to submit requests at a VIP lounge, with swift processing and delivery.  

Mr. Nunekpeku stated that to further enhance efficiency, TDC is introducing a dispatch rider service for same-day, secure document delivery within Accra and Tema. 

He furthat stated that for clients outside these areas or abroad, the company will facilitate document exchanges through courier services of their choice.  

Mr. Nunekpeku emphasized that the initiative aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision for a 24-hour economy, expanding productivity beyond traditional working hours to stimulate job creation and economic growth. 

“This is not just a business strategy, it is a response to a national call to action,” Mr. Nunekpeku stated. 

He said with TDC’s expanded mandate allowing development beyond the Tema Acquisition Area, the company is set to undertake projects across Ghana, including Takoradi, Kumasi, and Ho. 

Mr. Nunekpeku expressed gratitude to President Mahama, Minister for Works and Housing, the TDC board, management, clients, and staff for their support in bringing the vision to life.

“In today’s fast-paced world, people demand services that are fast, reliable, and always available”. 

“With this launch, we’re delivering exactly that. Let us step boldly into a new era not just in real estate, but in national transformation.” He said.
