The Paramount Chief of the New Juaben Traditional Area, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, has led a high-level delegation to the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in Germany, to initiate talks on a proposed twinning arrangement between Koforidua and key German cities, particularly Düsseldorf.

The visit, forms part of wider efforts to promote international cooperation, cultural exchange, and sustainable development between Ghana and Germany.

This landmark engagement highlights Daasebre’s forward-looking leadership and his commitment to advancing the socio-economic development of the New Juaben Traditional Area.

The discussions centred on building strategic partnerships in areas such as youth employment, skills development, urban governance, tourism, and economic collaboration.

Accompanying Daasebre was a delegation that included traditional leaders, advisors, public officials, academics, and stakeholders from the tourism sector.
