The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford, Bagbin, has been called upon by some concerned residents in Kablevu, a town in the Sege Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, to probe recent attacks on them and their chief.

The attacks in the morning of Thursday, September 8 by some unknown men left several injured.

The chief was hardest hit as he was manhandled and his household shot at severally, causing man particularly women and children to flee the bloodshed.

In observing a one-week commemoration of the violent attacks on Thursday, September 15, security analyst Richard Kumadoe, who is leading a crusade for justice for the people of Kablevu, urged Speaker Bagbin to institute a probe into the incident.

“We are also asking the Ga-Dangme Parliamentarians to come to the aid of the people of Kablevu.”
