Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs Minister, Ebenezer Kojo Kum has finally resigned in what appears to be an impending ministerial reshuffle which might affect him.
His resignation was announced by the statement from Jubilee House dated today, Friday, February 3, 2023.
Ebenezer Kojo Kum, is also Member of Parliament for Ahanta West Constituency in the Western Region.
He has been unwell over two years now, and has been in hospital thus unable to attend to both his ministerial and parliamentary responsibilities.
A statement by the Communications Director at the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin said the President had accepted his resignation.
It is unclear if he would also resign from Parliament, as a result of his failing health.
The letter further indicated that the President has asked the Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Dan Botwe to take over and act as Minister until a substantive Minister is appointed.
