The disruption, persisting for almost six months due to a faulty pump at the small town water system plant, was resolved through Mrs. Mahama’s initiative.

During a courtesy visit to Nana Amponsah Gyan II and Nana Adubofour, Krontihene of Ampoma, Mrs. Mahama, announced the procurement of a new pump, totaling forty-five thousand Ghana Cedis.

This generous gesture not only restored water supply to Jema, but also extended its benefits to neighboring communities like Jema Nkwanta, Ampoma, and Jema Senior High School.

The water system, established in 2013 with funding from the French Development Agency, now continues to serve the region effectively, thanks to Mrs. Mahama’s prompt support.
