NDC Standard bearer in the 2020 polls, is expected in the Nkwanta South Constituency, of the Oti Region, for the celebration of the party’s 30th anniversary.
The day, which also coincides with the June 4th Uprising, is expected to attract all leading Members of the party.
The June 4th Uprising, remains very relevant to the NDC, and is captured on the party’s calendar
Other leading Members of the party, expected at the celebration are the Running Mate to President John Dramani Mahama, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, as well as some Council of Elders Members and Functional Executive Members
The celebration is under the theme; NDC @30, Unity, Stability, Development
The Planning Committee of the June 4the event, met on Saturday with the local organising committee to discuss further about the upcoming event on 4th June.
The local organising committee is led by the Regional Chairman, Gyapong Kudjo and the Host MP, Geoffrey Kini, MP for Nkwanta South Constituency.
The Local Planning Committee, has extensively engaged the National Planning Committee in order to ensure a smooth and a successful event
It is also highly anticipated that, former president John Dramani Mahama would lead a tree planting Exercise to mark the June 4th and the 30th anniversary
