E/R: Grassroot supporters of NPP pledge support for Chairman Cudjoe

Members of the pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) group in the Eastern Region have pledged their support for Chairman Kwadwo Agyemang popularly called Chairman Cudjoe in the upcoming Regional Chairmanship elections of the party.

They group said they have monitored the race with eagle eyes and are convinced that Chairman Cudjoe is the sure best bet for our breaking the (8) mantra by the party.

“Chairman Cudjoe affectionately called, has gone through the mill by serving as Chairman for New Juabeng North for 16 years, also Campaign coordinator for Hon Kingston Akomeng Kissi Chairmanship Campaign in 2013, dutifully served Hon Hackman Owusu Agyemang Presidential ambition in 2006 and is ready to lead the region to victory in 2024,” a statement issued by Yaw Acheampong, Coordinator Concern Grassroot Of NPP Eastern Region, said.

It added “As Party Card bearing members and delegates across 20 constituencies including Akwetia, Ayensuano and Upper Manya Krobo are urging the region to embrace Chairman Cudjoe with his vision and leadership qualities which has made New Juabeng North an enviable Seat. He is a unifier, results oriented, workaholic and cut across all political parties in the region especially our political rivals the NDC.

“As Party Members in the Eastern Region, we believe in his message; Bring the People Together & Keep the Hope Alive with this, the region can reclaim our lost seats to the NDC and also increase our votes in both the Parliamentary and Presidential elections.

“We are not perturbed with his late coming into his race but rather happy for the sober reflection of the decision to come and serve the party at the regional level. We are very grateful to our colleague party members in New Juabeng North for blessing Chairman Cudjoe’s bid to serve the region.”
