Among the notable participants, were individuals with physical challenges who joined the protest, despite their mobility difficulties.

Their presence underscored their commitment to demanding an audit of the voters register from the Electoral Commission, in response to the concerns about irregularities raised by the NDC.

Head potters, who are commonly referred to as Kayayes, were also actively involved in the protest. They voiced their demands for proper electoral practices and the right to choose their leaders.

Among the prominent figures who took part in the demonstration were, Ayitey Powers and Braimah Isaac Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku.

In a conversation with Bukom Banku, he expressed his concerns regarding the current political climate.

He pointed out that since the establishment of the Fourth Republic, there has been a tradition of peaceful transitions of power.

Former presidents, including Rawlings, Kufuor, Mills, and Mahama, had all handed over the presidency to their successors, following elections.

However, Bukom Banku questioned why President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, seemed unwilling to adhere to this tradition.

He queried why President Akufo-Addo, is not prepared to hand over power to John DramaniMahama, even if Mahama wins the upcoming elections.

Bukom Banku, emphasized that every previous president had respected the democratic process and passed on the seat of power to their successors, making the current situation a significant concern for many.
