Stop sending songs to labels; Use the internet – Jay Hover to upcoming artistes

Jay Hover, the artiste behind the viral ‘One Leg’ song, has given some tips to attract deals with record labels. The Ghanaian artiste signed to two international labels has advised musicians to take advantage of the internet and showcase their craft.

In his voice, record labels do not care about talent. Instead, individuals should have a huge following and a strong presence on social media.

He explained to Chrystal Kwame-Aryee on the 3FM Drive that labels are looking for musicians who can bring money in when they sign them. So they scout talents with a strong online presence.
