Last Saturday, award winning hiplife artiste Sarkodie could not help but dance adowa with the children of Royal Seed Home orphanage in Kasoa, as he celebrated his birthday with them. Sarkodie who was moved by the kids after seeing them got up from his seat and joined them on the floor.
For the next three minutes that Sarkodie hit the floor, he received applause from the kids as well as friends, who had accompanied him to donate items to the orphans. Just as he got to the orphanage, the D J who was playing different music , played songs of Sarkodie ranging from You Go Kill Me , Dangerous, Illuminati, Okodie and Azonto Fiesta.
Before presenting the items to the Orphans, he rapped a few lines of his hit songs and advised the kids to take whatever they are doing seriously.
Sarkodie noted that, he is sad anytime he saw children suffer, because it has not been that easy for him.
To him, there was no better place to celebrate his birthday than coming all to the way to Kasoa to celebrate with Royal Seed Home orphanage.
With the help of Samsung, Fan Milk, Shoprite, Indomie, Tigo and Coca Cola, Sarkodie presented food, toiletries, bucket, books etc to the Royal Seed Home orphanage.
“This is just one of the many things I would be embarking on as an artiste, God has blessed so much.
“I wish I could do more than this but as the days go by, my team and I will fish out other orphanage home and support them however we can” said Sarkodie.
