Nkonya: Man killed by unknown assailants

The Oti regional police command has commenced investigation into a murder incident, which occurred at Nkonya Ntsumuru within the Biakoye district.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the deceased identified as Daniel Brempong was allegedly ambushed and shot on his way to his farm on Monday (1 August) by unknown assailants.

A statement issued by the police on Monday said it has intensified patrols at Nkonya and its adjoining communities to ensure law and order.
