Frances Essiam, CEO of the Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company, has left her position as CEO.
According to Atinka News source, the vociferous CEO tendered her resignation letter today.
It is not clear what triggered her latest action, but insiders say she is at loggerheads with the board once again and the Minister of Energy, Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
A source close to Madam Essiam confirmed to Atinka News’ Kaakyire Ofori Ayim, disclosed the overbearing interference from the Minister of Energy is the main reason for her resignation.
It will be recalled that the board of the company allegedly suspended Frances Essiam in 2018 over some alleged questionable deals, but she challenged her suspension by the company’s board, adding that she was still at her post.
