“Leadership in our tradition is not merely symbolic, it is a call to serve, unite, and uplift our people,” she stated.

Nana Oye Bampoe Addo called on members of the Ghanaian diaspora to maintain solidarity, support one another, and actively contribute to national development.

Highlighting the impact of the diaspora in Austria, she praised their social and economic contributions to both Ghanaian and Austrian societies and encouraged Ghanaian youth living abroad to take pride in their cultural identity and approach the future with purpose and ambition.

The Deputy Chief of Staff also lauded the efforts of the Asanteman Austria Executive Council and Ghana’s Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Matilda Alomatu Osei-Agyeman, for their continued commitment to promoting Ghanaian values and culture.

In her remarks, the Ghana Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Matilda Alomatu Osei-Agyeman, reaffirmed Ghana’s constitutional protection of cultural expression and traditional authority.

“Our constitution guarantees every citizen the right to enjoy, profess, and promote any culture, tradition, or religion,” she noted.

She highlighted the constitutional recognition of the chieftaincy institution as a custodian of Ghana’s customary values and expressed the Embassy’s pride in welcoming Nana Oye Bampoe Addo to the cultural celebration.
