An aspirant for the Amenfi Central constituency of the National Democratic Congress , Mrs Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has urged her supporters to disregard rumours of disqualification.
She said there is no such decision from the party and therefore calls on her teeming supporters to keep the campaign going and that there is light at the end of the tunnel .
Contained in a press release to the media a copy of which was sent to The Herald , Mrs. Gyan Cudjoe, rubbish all allegation against her , saying they have no basis.
Dated April 4, 2023, the release indicated that she has appeared before the vetting committee on April 3, 2023 and answered all necessary questionswith the committee referring the matter to headquarters.
“ It must be stated clear that, Dr Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe is still in the contest” , the release indicated.
Dr Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, therefore urged all her support base to keep calm and wait for the national headquarters of the NDC to decide on the matter.
“Even though her appearance at the vetting was marred with lots of distractive and disturbing situations, she is poised and never turning back on her people”, the release stressed.
The release said Dr Mrs Gyan, will later interact with each and everyone in the Amenfi central constituency for the way forward.
