Joseph Kobina Ade Coker, a prominent figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former Greater Accra Regional Chairman, has passed away.
According to party sources, he died on Saturday, May 31, at the Bank Hospital after a short illness.
Ade Coker was first elected as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC in 2009. He served in that capacity until 2022, when he was unseated by Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the current chairman.
Beyond his political contributions, Ade Coker also played a role in sports administration, having served as Vice Chairman of the Ghana Football Association.
