Ten (10) Tertiary Students Confederacy -TESCON Presidents for institutions in the Bono East Region of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, have petitioned the National Election Committee of the Party of a list purported to be TESCON Presidents in the region, which has been submitted as the delegates to vote in the upcoming National Elections.
According to Bono East Region TESCON Presidents, the list is false and the details does not represent TESCON Presidents in Bono East Region.
This was contained in a joint press statement and issued and signed by the ten (10) TESCON Presidents for institutions in the Bono East Region and copied to Director of Research and Elections, regional Chairman, regional secretary and the regional organizer.
The rest are the regional youth organizers, all aspirants in the upcoming primaries, TESCON Coordinator and the media.
The statement said that the regional youth organizer, Charles Addo Dokyi Yaw, and the TESCON Coordinator, Owusu Achiaw, are on a mission to pursue their agenda primarily to suit their selfish interest and not that of the NPP in the region.
It further said, majority of the list the regional youth organizer has presented, do not school in their various institutions, while others are not known in Bono East NPP.
The TESCON Presidents, therefore, pleaded with the Election Committee not just consider the list frivolous, but treat it with the necessary contempt it deserves.
The Presidents of the various institutions included; Amankwah Kweκu Gyasi College of the College of Health in Kintampo, Opoku Asiedu Michael of the Martin Luther College of Health, Afful Simon of the Anglican University College of Technology, Asare Isaac of the Atebubu College of Education and Donkor Emmanuel of the Krobo Nursing Training College.
The rest are; Yanney El-Shaddai of the Holy Family Nursing and Mid TRN, Frimpong Kwesi Owusu of the College of Health-Kintampo, Appiah Bridget of the Yeji Midwifery Training School, Amoako Gabriel of the Valley View University and Abubakari Sadique Seidu of Valley View University.
