Dr. Clement A. Apaak has handed over a 32-bed children’s ward to his constituents in the Builsa South District of the Upper East Region.
Present at the handing over held on Tuesday, 08 February 2022.were officials of the Fumbisi Health Center, the Fumbisi Chief and his division chiefs, party faithfuls as well as the general public.
Accommodation for children in the Fumbisi Health Center remains a major challenge in health delivery in the Builsa South District.
The handing over of the children’s ward is therefore timely and will go a long way to alleviate the sufferings of mothers whenever they are admitted to the Fumbisi Health center.
The facility offers the medical staff the opportunity to properly care for patients on admission by administering to them the required drugs at the appropriate time.
The children’s ward will also go a long way to cater for the needs and services of overseas counterparts e.g Yagba, Kuboari, among others.
The fact that the children can now be accommodated in the ward and their health conditions properly monitored by the authorities it is thought will drastically reduce the rate of child mortality.
Since becoming the MP, Dr. Apaak has never relented in his efforts to support Builsa South with the basic needs particularly in Education.
He for effective supervision of educational drives in the area, he has donated motorbikes for monitoring and evaluating works in the area.
He donated computers, furniture for schools, organization of mock exams for BECE candidates and distribution of mathematical sets among others.
“Good health leads to proper growth of children and make them develop with sound mind where upon they aspire to higher heights”.
