In a world where obstacles often deter many, Emmanuel Agambilla, a visually impaired student and Okuapeman Secondary School’s Senior Prefect, proves that true determination knows no bounds.

On Monday, Sammi Awuku, Member of Parliament (MP) for Akuapem North, shared Emmanuel Agambilla’s story of perseverance, hard work, and an unbreakable spirit on Facebook.

Despite his disability, Emmanuel, defied expectations and was not merely appointed, but elected by his peers to lead the school—a testament to their confidence in his leadership abilities.

Awuku, described Emmanuel’s journey as a “personal triumph”, emphasising that his success serves as a potent reminder that “disability is not inability.”

“Emmanuel’s journey reminds us that the only real limitations are the ones we accept. With courage, perseverance, and the right support, greatness is possible for anyone willing to rise above adversity,” Awuku stated, who is also a lawyer.
