Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo, an active member of the #fixthecountry movement, has alleged that the President is the cause of the country’s economic woes.
Andrea Owusu, popularly called Efia Odo, took to Twitter to express her displeasure with H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s public address on the economy of Ghana.
She tweeted, “Sika mp3 dede, but you are the dede. Addo D, please come again and say something of substance. Audio man.”
The actress went further to call the President a “greedy bofrot.”
Efia Odo was one of the celebrities to jump on the #FixTheCountry campaign early last year. After actively championing better living conditions for Ghanaians, the actress announced a leave of absence from social media claiming there were threats against her life.
Most Ghanaians have expressed displeasure at the President’s speech and proposed measures to control the economic crisis. Many have called for comprehensive measures to tackle the hike in commodities on the local market.
