GEODATA receives Esri ArcGIS Software Adoption Award at Esri Partner Conference for Exceptional Achievement

GEODATA, has been awarded the prestigious ArcGIS Software Adoption Award at the 2023 Esri Partner Conference (EPC) held in Palm Springs, California March 4–6, 2023.

This award was presented in recognition of GEODATA’s successes in developing and implementing the Angolan National Cadaster system in partnership with the Angolan Ministry of Urbanization, utilizing the ArcGIS system.

The project, succeeded in mapping more than 450,000 urban parcel boundaries and register 100,000 properties in just a few years, providing a national cadaster management system and a national registration system to allow better governance, and enable owners to register the country’s properties, have better access to mortgages, and stimulate the real estate market.

GEODATA, a subsidiary of Mitrelli Group, provides plan, manage, and control solutions based on mapping and geospatial information.

The company utilizes state-of-the-art technologies to develop detailed and accurate mapping and GIS infrastructure, playing a vital role in improving a society’s quality of life, boosting its economy, reducing costs, and increasing its revenues. The solutions are designed, developed, and delivered to be tailor-made to their clients’ needs and specifications, in accordance with the local environment and regulations.

 The award winners are organizations that have demonstrated innovative and creative ways to solve complex problems by using Esri’s ArcGIS software and those who have done exceptional work in advancing geographic information system (GIS) technology. GEODATA was one of a small number of Esri partners receiving an achievement award at the conference.

The head of technology in GEODATA, Rafi Aminov, received the award and noted, “We are honored to be recognized by Esri for our work, and dedicate this award to our partners and clients with whom we are privileged to work on a daily basis to expand our solutions and impact positively the lives of communities, boosting economic opportunity and sustainable natural resource management and utilization, for the sake of the environment and society.”
