Tema and its environs, will today, Wednesday, 26 October 2022, experience total black out from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight.
This is in accordance with Ga custom to honour the departed Chief of Tema, Osonnaa Nii Adjei Kraku II.
The Tema General Hospital has therefore advised its staff, who will be working on the night shift to take precaution, as residents have been advised “to stay indoors during the period.”
In a Memorandum to all departments of the hospital from the Medical Director, Management of the hospital, urged staff, who are scheduled for night shift, “to report to work by 5 p.m.”
This according to the hospital is to enable “staff who will be handing over and those taking up perform such activities in good time to enable their colleagues return home before the total blackout.”
