Job Creations Sustains the Community Through Corporate Social Responsibilities -MP

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Krowor Constituency, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has urged Sho Biz TV to practice Corporate Social Responsibility to promote employment in the communities.

According to the MP, job creations in her Constituency, is a win for her because members of the constituency, will have the chance to get employed to curb unemployment menace facing the country.

Speaking at the official launch of Ghanaian Television Network, “Sho Biz TV” themed “Beyond Music”, she made it known that such opportunities will help the community by reducing the rate of unemployment in the country.

She, therefore added that she is willing to assist Sho Biz TV with any partnership needed for a successful organization.

The network, which has its premises at Nungua-Addogonnor, close to the Glorious Temple, ICGC building is a subsidiary of Kamba Media.

The launch, which was by invitation only, gathered a cross section of celebrities, entrepreneurs, media reps, government officials and guests from the US.

Speaking at the launch, the Ghanaian, US based, president of Kamba Media, Ken Maison, articulated his love for music and expressed his joy at seeing a dream he had nurtured since juvenescence come to fruition.

The launch, also allowed the invited audience to catch a glimpse of promo visuals for the network’s five preliminary content, which were highly praised by the audience.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sho Biz TV, Kwame Obuobisa Gyasi, in an interview with the media assured that the network was adequately equipped to entertain viewers with exceptional content, stressing that it will never have a prosaic moment on the channel.

According to him, the core target audience of Sho Biz TV, are people within six to 45 years.

The network, which has been on test transmission since last year, will initialize programming mode with the introduction of its Morning Show, “Sun Up”, on Wednesday, March 8, which will air from Mondays to Fridays, from 7am to 9am.

He explained the channel is not limited to Ghana only, so there is a software application to be downloaded on Android phones. 

Mr Gyasi, also mentioned there are plans for the software to be downloaded on iPhone and is awaiting approval.

According to him, Sho Biz TV, is strategically position to monopolize entertainment in the television broadcast space.
