The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has gone into a partnership arrangement with Twellium Industry Limited, producers of Verna mineral water, to promote good health among Ghanaians.
The partnership, has seen executives of the GMA touring the production plant of the company to acquaint themselves with the operations and production of the products.
Speaking to journalists at the end of the tour on Thursday, September 8, 2022, the President of the Ghana Medical Association, Dr Frank Serebour, intimated that the state of the art technology being used to produce Verna mineral water, is unmatched making them stand out.
He expressed the view that, the speed at which the machines work, coupled with the quality control standards is highly commendable.
The GMA, he emphasized, is partnering Verna water to see Ghanaians reap the benefits of such a product through planned activities of the GMA in the health promotion.
He said a tour of the facility revealed that Verna water is safe in view of the automation and computerized production of the product.
“ After our tour of the facility, we can confidently say that indeed Verna Mineral water ranks amongst the best and safest bottled water on the market and this is why we have made a conscious effort to partner with them “, he stressed.
Established in 2014, Twellium Industrial Company Limited, currently has a staff strength of about 10, 000, with the opening of another branch in the Ashanti regional capital of Kumasi.
The Verna Mineral water, is already being exported to Nigeria, Liberia, Burkina Faso, Benin and Togo.
With certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Certification and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control points (HACCP) Twellium Industrial Company Limited, has presence in parts of Europe.
The Marketing Supervisor of Twellium, Madam Emelia Gyasi, who also spoke to the media, reiterated the point that their outfit is bent on promoting good health.
Water, she pointed out, purifies the body, and that is what the Verna Mineral water represents.
