First Lady Support Victims Of Appiate Explosion

The First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has joined the many good spirited persons supporting victims of the Appiate explosion near Bogoso in the Western Region.

In a Facebook post she made today, Monday, January 24, 2022, Mrs. Akufo-Addo, said she has been touched by compassion, kindness and generosity following last Thursday’s tragic event. 

Below is what she wrote with pictures of the truckload of the food items. 

“I am truly touched by the Ghanaian spirit of compassion, kindness and generousity, following the tragic events at Apiate Bogoso.

On Saturday January 22, the Rebecca Foundation, sent some relief items to our brothers and sisters in Appiate Bogoso.

We continue to pray for them, as we encourage all to support the affected families.
