Award-winning Ghanaian musician and producer EL has finally opened up on his relationship with the Ghanaian musical duo Dope Nation.

In an interview on TV3’s New Day, the ‘Higher’ hitmaker revealed that he has a good relationship with Dope Nation. He also disclosed that he has been in touch with them since he arrived in the country.EL has been one of the key players in the growth of the musical duo, and many perceived that he was is not on good terms with them after outdooring them.

However, he has ridiculed such claims. He said, “We still talk all the time. It’s just that when you outdoor an artist, you don’t want to be in their business all the time. You want to leave them for who they are and leave them to thrive independently.

“They are my boys. We are actually planning to meet up some time as I am back.”

He further debunked claims that the musical duo has taken over his music prowess and his shine.

“DopeNation never stole my shine. I think they were going to do well regardless. I have known them since University days,” he said.

The rapper revealed that he had hitches with some artists some time ago. However, he is more focused on his craft now and does not have room for sayings and actions that would destruct him from taking his music career to its peak.

“At this point in my career, I have no problem with any artiste. I am just focused on my craft,” he restated.
