Burkina Faso’s Prime Minister, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, has commended Ghana for its strong participation in the 18th International Arts and Handicraft Trade Show of Ouagadougou (SIAO 2026).

He praised Ghana for its participation and the organisation of Ghana Day, held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, on the sidelines of the trade fair in Ouagadougou.

The Prime Minister described the event as an important platform for showcasing Ghanaian culture, craftsmanship and creativity.

He made the remarks when he was received at the Ghana Day event by Ghana’s Ambassador to Burkina Faso, Kenneth Akibate.

Mr Ouedraogo also called for sustained efforts to strengthen the longstanding relations between Ghana and Burkina Faso for their mutual benefit.
