The NDC announces meeting to consider presidential candidate’s running mate nomination

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced a meeting to consider the nomination of the party’s Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama’s Running Mate. 

The announcement was made in a statement issued in Accra and signed by the General Secretary of the NDC, Fifi Kwetey.

The meeting of the Council of Elders is set to take place on Thursday, March 07, 2024, at 11:00 hrs, followed by a meeting of the National Executive Committee at 14:00 hrs on the same day.

The party expressed confidence that the selected Running Mate will bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and dedication to the campaign, complementing the vision of John Dramani Mahama as they work towards building the Ghana they aspire to see.

The statement concluded that the NDC expressed their gratitude to all their supporters for their unwavering commitment and urged everyone to join hands as they embark on the journey towards a brighter future for Ghana.
