The Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, is at the centre of a growing controversy, following his bold move to clamp down on illegal activities involving contractors, popularly known as “Goro boys”.
They have long been accused of extorting money from individuals seeking reposting within the scheme.
Gyamfi’s decision to block these intermediaries from manipulating the reposting process, has sparked a flurry of verbal attacks on social media and political platforms — a backlash his supporters, insist is the work of saboteurs within the Authority itself.
Critics have taken issue with Gyamfi’s refusal to allow what they call “special postings”, accusing him of disrupting a system many have come to rely on, albeit illegitimately.
In response, the Director-General, has published official statistics detailing the number of repostings completed so far, dismissing claims that his actions are causing unnecessary delays or administrative bottlenecks.
Allegations, have emerged pointing fingers at Gyamfi’s top officials, as the mastermind behind the attacks.
According to reliable sources, this top officer is believed to be leaking distorted information and even sharing Gyamfi’s personal contact details on National Democratic Congress (NDC) platforms, intensifying the smear campaign.
The situation, has raised concerns about internal sabotage and a potential power struggle within the NSA, as Gyamfi’s push for transparency and reform continues to ruffle feathers.
