The Ghana Police Service, has invited successful candidates of the 2024 police recruitment exercise for a medical examination.
In a release dated November 5, 2024, signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police and Director of Public Affairs Grace Ansah-Akrofi, said, the medical examination for candidates invited via SMS messages will commence from Thursday, November 7, to Friday, November 8, 2024, in Accra.
The Assistant Commissioner, highlighted the designated locations for the medical examination, which include the Police Church premises near 37 Military Hospital, Police Church premises in Odorkor, Police Interdenominational Church premises at Police Depot, Tesano, Formed Police Unit (FPU) Headquarters at Police Depot, Tesano, Detective Training School at Police Depot, Tesano, and Police Academy at Police Depot, Tesano.
“All successful candidates are to note that the cost of the medical examination is Nine Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 980.00), which is the only payment required during this recruitment exercise,” Grace Ansah noted, cautioning successful candidates in particular and the public in general that anyone demanding any other payment should be considered a fraudster and reported to the police.
The Ghana Police Service, has also cautioned all unsuccessful candidates against making payments to anyone claiming to assist them in securing recruitment.
“Meanwhile, unsuccessful candidates have been notified accordingly, and we wish them better luck next time,” the police stated.
