SIC Insurance PLC pays over GHS 1.5 million claim to GCB Bank

SIC Insurance PLC, has fulfilled a significant insurance obligation by paying a claim of GH¢ 1,541,446.19 to GCB Bank PLC under the Bank’s Bankers Blanket Policy.

At a brief presentation ceremony held at GCB Bank’s Head Office in Accra, the Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC,  James Agyenim-Boateng, handed over the cheque to the Bank’s Deputy Managing Director (Finance), Socrates Afram.

Mr Agyenim-Boateng, expressed his appreciation to GCB Bank for its long-standing partnership with SIC Insurance and reaffirmed the insurer’s commitment to prompt claims settlement.

He highlighted SIC’s strong financial position and reliability, urging businesses and the wider insurance market to continue to place their trust in the company.

“SIC Insurance PLC is stable, financially robust, and honors its claims obligations without delay. We urge businesses to make us their preferred insurance partner,” he stated.

He further revealed that, in addition to the payment made to GCB Bank, SIC Insurance PLC recently paid over $1 million in claims to a client in Accra, as well as $780,000 to another company based in Tema.

“At SIC Insurance PLC, we value our relationship with GCB Bank. We honor our promises because to us, our promises are sacred. Continue to trust us, and when the unexpected happens, we’ll be the first to deliver your cheque,” Mr. Agyenim-Boateng assured.

Receiving the cheque, Mr Socrates Afram, Deputy Managing Director (Finance) of GCB Bank PLC, lauded the strong and mutually beneficial relationship between the two institutions. He expressed the Bank’s appreciation for the consistent support and reliability shown by SIC Insurance over the years.
