Bibiani community was after the heart of Dr Kwame Nkrumah – Nana Ngoah Ayimah Kodom II

Chief of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North region of Ghana, Nana Ngoah Ayimah Kodom II, has revealed how Dr Kwame Nkrumah, liked Bibiani community and thereby remembering him, made the community to start celebrating Independence day, as very important than any other occasion.

Nana mentioned further that, Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s 1965 programmes for the nation which he named seven year Development Plan that, include the building of Valco, Tema Oil Refinery (TOR)  and the other projects was launched at Bibiani Anglican Church, which showed how Dr Nkrumah truly loved Bibiani community.

Nana Ngoa, said also that, he is the one who started the promotion of Independence day celebration at Bibiani by organizing Miss Bibiani in 1996 and the occasion has been well embraced till date.

He advised the youth to keep calm as the occasion is ongoing to attain peace throughout the programme and also promised to increase the budget for the programme from GHC 15,000 as used this year to GHC 50,000 next year, if things succeeds.
