The Supreme Court has for the second time adjourned all three review application cases of Assin North Member of Parliament, James Gyakye Quayson.
The apex court on April 13, ruled that Mr. Quayson bars himself from parliamentary duties.
The embattled Assin North member of Parliament has asked the court to review its application.
A court registrar without citing reasons, communicated the adjournment of the cases.
Additionally, Mr Quayson has filed an application to the Supreme Court to review the Court of Appeal’s decision to strike out his appeal against the High Court’s decision to remove him as Assin North legislator.
The substantive case involves the interpretation of article 94(2)(a) of the 1992 constitution brought by Mr. Michael Ankomah-Nimfah, the plaintiff who is a private citizen.
