“You can call me a fake prophet or burn down my church building if the New Patriotic Party [NPP] does not win the upcoming polls,” he said.
Like most of you, I was in disbelief when I first read the quote above. I decided to verify it by going on peacefmonline.com, from where the quote was taken. I was shocked by what I found out – here is a flavor: I was shocked by what I found out – here is a flavor:
“I say this year is for no other Presidential candidate other than Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], no matter what happens,” he emphasized.
“Mine is to act as the prophecy of God come to me.”
“I am saying with no single doubt again that Nana Addo would be the President of Ghana come December 7th. It is already written in heaven and so it shall be on earth,” Rev. Owusu Bempah said.
The quotes are for the people who refuse to believe Rev Owusu Bempah, could ever say anything like that.
They are for those who still believe the man speaks for, and on behalf, of God.
They are for those who live in denial of the fact they have been lied to and scammed by the people they have trusted and respected all their lives.
This is the same man of God, who prophesized on live television that, Hilary Clinton, was going to be the 45th president of the United States of America (USA). Could the man of God, be hallucinating when he made the prediction, the answer is not farfetched as Donald Trump is the one to occupy
the White House, after January 20, 2017.
Rev. Owusu Bempah, is a politician in cassock, his visions are always one-sided and so he only sees the New Patriotic Party colours.
I remember one of our tutors in Bishop Herman College, telling us that, the things we think about before going to bed are the things we mostly dream about. Dreams are the continuation and manifestations of our thoughts.
Rev. Owusu Bempah, has no shame, he has consistently passed derogatory remarks about the current administration, led by John Dramani Mahama.
After the untimely death of our late president, John Evans Atta Mills, Rev. Bempah publicly said, he knew those who killed him, if is today that, he will make the names public, only he and God will tell.
Early this year, he predicted that Ghana, would suffer a deadly coup d’ état in the course of the year which will see a disruption of the country’s electoral calendar ahead of the December 7, general elections.
Only a man of God, who is after fame, would throw a challenge to a colleague pastor. We have seen and heard the ugly side of Rev Owusu Bempah, but his worst was when he threw an open challenge to his counterpart Bishop Charles Agyin Asare of Perez Chapel International for the two to meet and prove who of them is of God and who is fake.
Rev Owusu Bempah, General Overseer of the Glorious Way Chapel, threw the challenge in response to a comment by Bishop Agyin Asare that a prophecy Rev Bempah had given about President Mahama could not have come from God.
In September this year, Rev. Owusu Bempah, indicated that Chairperson of the Election Commission (EC), Madam Charlotte Osei, will die if she connives with NDC to rig this year’s elections in favour of President John Dramani Mahama.
Prophet Owusu Bempah speaking on Oman FM, on Wednesday with Silver Lady, the host of “Yekofie” (Drive Time) said God had revealed to him that EC chairperson was conspiring with ruling NDC to rig the elections for President Mahama.
He has also alleged that, the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), has brought in Prophet TB Joshua to spiritually rig the election for President Mahama.
Rev. Owusu Bempah in an interview with Paul Adom-Okyere on Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana show a fortnight ago, made staggering revelations about reasons why he believes President Mahama is not the right person to be re-elected come December 7.
I have summarized his allegations as,
1. Mahama has blood on his hands
2. The clouds in Ghana are crying with tears of blood
3. Mahama is behind the death of Atta Mills
What more could one add to convince right-thinking Ghanaians that, the prophesies of Rev. Owusu Bempah are not from God. He can state his opinion on who he thinks is the best man for Ghana, but to claim it is coming from God, is nothing short of blasphemy.
Is Rev. Owusu Bempah the only man of God in Ghana, he used to be a doomsday pastor, now he is what I will call ‘Pastorpollster’.
I cannot wait to December 9, when the ballots are counted and the winner announced, I will be the first person to storm his Church and burn it to the ground.
A word of caution to the security services “We were sitting our somewhere minding our business, when the man of God, decided to dare God and try our patience, he threw a challenge and we have accepted it, when the time comes and we decided to exert justice, I hope they won’t come and tell us, the
man had a momentary relapse, he was sound in his mind when he threw the challenge, the only thing that could save his church is when he checks into
any our psychiatric hospital, then we know, he is officially declared mad.”
False prophesies have become a potent tool in the hands of charlatans to maintain their control over gullible people. It is in their interest to garnish and perpetuate these myths, because the continued success of their trade is reliant on the pervasiveness of myths in society.
It is easier to deceive than to convince gullible people that they are being deceived.
Harriet Tubman said: “I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.”
In my view, only those who have been mentally enslaved by Rev. Owusu Bempah and those who think like him, will defend him, and they cannot be freed, until they have come to this realization.
