The Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, while addressing Journalists Wednesday, on the leaked tape purported to be the voice of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), national chairman, has asked Ofosu Ampofo to resign his position.
This position of the NPP, runs contrary to the philosophy and thinking of president Akufo-Addo, who has made it clear to Ghanaians that, when it comes to his appointees, he sees no evil, hears no evil and speaks no evil.
Let us assume without admitting that, the voice is that of the NDC chairman, is his voice a gun, how different is it from Akufo-Addo’s “All-die-be-die”..
When the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, showed the picture of Ahmed Hussein Suale, on live television, exposing him to danger in the process, and asking that, he be beaten when seen anywhere, in the aftermath of his unfortunate death, did Buabeng Asamoah, hold a press conference to ask, Mr Agyapong to resign.
This newspaper makes bold to state that, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, can no longer be properly characterized. He cannot be characterized, because he has no character.
They are so many pressing issues of bread and butter that requires the attention of the government and governing party, but they are so fixated on their opponent that, they forget the mandate given them.
Emile Short commission is still taking testimony from individuals directly or remotely connected to the violence that rocked the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.
The minister of State at the national security, Bryan Acheampong, has admitted that, the mask wearing hoodlums who shot and injured people, were sent by them, the erratic and uncouth Buabeng Asamoah, has not ask him to resign, yet someone should resign from saying nothing different from “All-die-be-die”
How can this clown call himself a lawyer and an MP, representing a Constituency made up of both NDC and NPP.
The NPP, must remember that, the day of reckoning would come in December 2020 and Ghanaians will bat no eyelid to return the NDC to power.
So, from all the darts, arrows and spears targeted at NDC, the NPP should know that the NDC will triumph and emerge victorious.
