The Chief Executive of Microfinance and Small Loans Scheme (MASLOC), Mrs. Sedina Tamakloe, has entreated Ghanaian youth to see the tricycle business as a viable venture that can better their lives, saying they can make good profit out of it.
The MASLOC CEO, made this known when she disbursed 80 tricycles to youth in the Western Region, as part of the poverty reduction measures of President John Mahama.
She said, MASLOC would continue to help the youth of Ghana to compliment the changing lives and transformation agenda of President John Mahama.
According to Mrs. SedinaTamakloe, it is the responsibility of MASLOC to serve the entire country to reduce poverty.
She further advice the beneficiaries to take the tricycle business serious to be able to finish payment on time, so that others can also benefit.
The 25 beneficiaries, who were able to pay part of the agreement made, were handed their keys at the MASLOC Regional office in the Western region.
Among the officials who were present at the handing over ceremony included; the CEO of MASLOC, Mrs. SedinaTamakloe, the Deputy Minister of Western Region, Mr. Alfred Ekow Gyan and Mr. Josha Akosah, head of MASLOC in the western Region.
