TV3 Again Launches “Celebrations”

“Best in entertainment” television station TV3, has launched yet another first, ‘Celebrations’, a choral and an akapella groups competition, aimed at assembling musical groups to entertain the viewing public, through weekly performances, whiles bringing out their inbuilt talents with respect to music.

It adds to the many reality shows by the station such as, Mentor, Talented Kids, Ghana’s Most Beautiful, The Pulpit, which have over the years exposed many talents and creativity in contestants.

Celebrations, which commenced last Sunday November 15 2013, promises to thrill viewers in the eight weeks that the programme would be aired.
For the maiden edition, the choral groups that were featuring include, Africa Youth Choir, Zionic Voices, Rhythms, TY Crew, Sakumono, FCI, Okyeman Youth Choir, whiles the akapella groups are Chosen and Akoo.

Judges for the eight week show, are veteran gospel musician, Rev. Thomas Yawson and a lecturer from the University of Ghana’s Department of Music, Bernard Amakye Boateng.

Every week, viewers will have a chance to vote for their favourite group to ensure that their preferred group stays out of eviction, till the finals to enable them compete for the ultimate prize.

Winners of the show at the end of it all, will receive a yet to be disclosed amount, instruments and packages from sponsors.
