The Ghana Media Development Conference (GMDC) is a seminar crafted to bring together members of the inky fraternity and aimed at providing cutting edge modern expertise and innovative media training (capacity building) also information to empower, build, motivate them through carefully selected Speakers.
The second Media Development Conference organized by United Press for Development Network and EduEnter Group Ghana, both media nongovernmental organizations headquartered in Accra Ghana is slated to be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 12pm at Knutsford University College, East Legon, Accra Ghana, under the Theme: “Media, Converging in Thought to Create a New Ghana/Africa”.
The process of communication has evolved since the inception of devices that has accounted for ease in message transfer mitigating errors that occurred traditionally. Media is considered to be the most vital and powerful component as it deals with information which is required to be adequate and timely imparted. The Media Development Conference is believed to serve as that platform for knowledge transferring in relevance to the future of Media and Mass Communication in Ghana.
The Conference which will witness the participation of the members of the Inky Fraternity, Academicians, Professionals and Industry Experts gathering on a single platform to discuss the future prospects in Media and Mass Communication, has the following as Speakers: Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Kuku Biney, CEO, Media 7 Consult Group of Companies; Oheneyere Gifty Anti, Ace Ghanaian Female Broadcaster, Host of Standpoint (GTV) and Dr. Lawyer Nana Oppong, President, Distinguished Scholars of Africa & International Standard Journalist Association (ISJA.
