Manhyia Grabs His Neck Over Otumfuo Death Prophesy

The Head of the Spiritual Division of Asanteman (Nsumankwaahene), Baffuor Asabre Kogyawoasu Ababio III, is demanding unreserved apology, from Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah to the Asantehene, or face the wrath of the deities of Asanteman.

Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, a well-known Pastor, with anti-Mahama prophesies, coup and death monger, recently claimed he prayed to avert a prophesy, he received about the death of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

He enjoys huge publicity in the pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) media especially, Daily Guide, for his doom prophecies. He has also claimed he foresaw the death of Ace Broadcaster, Komla Dumor, which the yet-to-be-buried journalist ignored.

Also prior to the 2012 Presidential Election, he claimed to have had a dream in which Nana Akufo-Addo of the NPP, had won that election. That prophesy, did not come to pass as John Mahama, won the election.

On the Otumfuo prophesy, he said, “I fell in a trance and the Lord revealed something to me. In that experience, I saw a buck [goat] tied to a tree and I saw a king clothed in his traditional outfit order an executioner to slaughter the animal. As the action was about to happen, I saw another goat
which was a nanny come out to save the tied goat.

“I asked God to explain the revelation to me and He explained to me that the goat I saw was Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the nanny was his mother. God, further told me that if we don’t pray for Otumfuo and his mother, they might pass away. But we prayed for him and his mother and this averted what could have been a sad story”.

But the Nsumankwaahene of Asanteman hinted that, the Asanteman Traditional Council, was still deliberating on the issue and that Rev Owusu-Bempah, has a grace period to either show remorse and apologise to the Asante kingdom and its King or face the wrath of the gods.

“One cannot seek for popularity at the expense of the Golden Stool and if Owusu-Bempah knows what is best for him, he better apologises to the King or curse his own stars,” the spiritual head told Adom TV.

“The gods being quiet now, doesn’t mean they won’t talk, he [Owusu-Bempah] is sitting on a time bomb”, he warned.
Known for his doom prophecies, Rev. Owusu Bempah, three days ago, prophesied that “calamities” were likely to befall the country.

The Prophet said, God had revealed to him of a possible overthrow of Government (Coup).

However, Rev. Owusu Bempah says, despite the revelation, all must be done to prevent it from happening, through relentless prayers.

“If you love Ghana, you won’t use a gun to overthrow a president. It’s only by election that we can change a president, not through arms. I panicked when God revealed this to me in my dreams. I am warning those planning that (coup) to stop. We want peace in Ghana,” he said.

On Adom FM Monday, he also noted that the country would also be in a “state of confusion,” adding that, the media will play a major role in that.

“I saw in my dreams that there was confusion all over Ghana…radio stations and the media were involved and masterminded that. I heard Coup d’état,” he said.

Nonetheless, he warned that, “No one should politicize this revelation. People always politicize what I say…let’s take this serious and pray towards this. We have to pray…if not, this overthrow can happen. God has spoken to me”.

I DID NOT SAY OTUMFOUR IS A SHEEP-OWUSU BEMPAH

Owusu Bempah, last Sunday debunked claims that he likened the Otumfuo to a sheep in one of his controversial prophecies, he delivered to his church during last year’s watch night service.

According to him, he happens to be a grandson of Otumfuo and he cannot for any reason call his father a sheep stressing, he cannot show that kind of disrespect and disdain to the elderly.

Rev. Owusu Bempah, made this denial during a press conference organized at his church in Accra.

In interpreting the revelations to the congregation; he did not emphatically say Otumfuo was a sheep, as peddled by his “detractors”, to tarnish his reputation.

But rather in the dream “I saw a man dressed in a king regalia being dragged to be killed, only for a white sheep to offer itself to be killed in place of the king’’.

“When I had the prophecy about the death of the Asantehene, I called the attention of my congregation and together we interceded on his behalf”, he said
He denied ever saying that Asantehene, would die as per the revelations made available to him on the day of the watch night service.

He took the opportunity to apologize to the Asantehene and the Ashanti Kingdom and called on all Christians to continue to pray for the king to enable him deliver his duties to the country in particularly and the people of the Ashanti Region.

“On that day, I had several prophecies about some very important persons in the country, including President John Mahama, about journalists dying prematurely including, the late Komla Dumor, and high rate of armed robberies in the country”.

“I said this with a caveat that if Ghanaians do not pray and intercede, these calamities will befall the nation”.

He said, when he delivered the prophecy about the Presidency, some leading members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) came to him, to find out how best to save the President.

He noted that on the revelation about the death of the iconic British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) television presenter and former Super Morning show host on Joy FM, Komla Dumor, people never took it serious, including believers.

He interestingly, added that a colleague pastor travelled to the United Kingdom (UK) and informed him (Mr. Dumor) about the prophecy, but he down played it, hence his sudden demise.

He did not mention the name of the pastor, who met Mr. Dumor over the prophesy, but pleaded with Ghanaians not to brand him as doomsayer, but accept his sayings and pray against it.
