Petroleum Minister Pays Courtesy Call On Ghana’s High Commissioner To Nigeria

The Minister for Petroleum, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah on July 11, 2016, paid a courtesy call on H.E William Azumah-Awinador Kanyirige, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Nigeria. The meeting which took place at the High Commissioner’s residence in Abuja had the two dignitaries discussing several topical issues.

Mr Buah was in Abuja to attend the West African Gas Pipeline Project (WAGP) Committee of Ministers meeting. The meeting which was held on July 12, 2016 was attended by Energy Ministers from Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Ghana.

High on the agenda was the discussion of inadequate gas supply to buyer countries, non-payment by major off-takers and pipeline security.
