Okaikoi Joins Okaikoi NDC To Clean Up Achimota

The former National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi North Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Andrew Okaikoi, last Saturday September 6, 2014 joined the chiefs and people of the Constituency to clean up the Achimota market to help cease the outbreak of cholera.

The clean up exercise was to compliment President John Dramani Mahama’s efforts to get rid of filth in the city and to ensure a Cholera free society.

As part of the clean up exercise, various personalities vying for the NDC Constituency executive positions took the opportunity to fraternize with the delegates in the area.

The personalities included, Mr Edwin Afeti, who is vying for the position of secretary; Mr Fifi Taylor for the position of Chairman, Mr Forster Tsegah for Vice-Chairman, Mr Francis Mensah for Organizer, Alhaji Abu, also for Organizer, Theresa Awuni for Women Organizer, Joyce Antwi for Deputy Organizer, Mahamoud Ahmed for Youth Organizer

Speaking to The Herald in an interview after the exercise, Alhaji Abdul Majaid , the Assembly Member for the Achimota Electoral area, thanked the leadership of the NDC in the Constituency for the organization of the clean up exercise, he further urged that the exercise should be organize periodically, to sensitize the Constituents on the need to keep the environment clean.
