After Supporting Nana Addo

The United Kingdom (UK) branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) last Sunday, held elections to elect leaders to manage its affairs.

Roland Afari, a Freelance journalist reports from the UK that the event was like a referendum on the “No Nana, No Vote” cabal with Hayford Atta Kruffi losing to Michael Ansah.

Hayford Atta Kruffi, a staunch Nana Addo loyalist, who campaigned on the strength of the twice-defeated leader of the NPP, polled 92 votes with the Winner, Mr. Ansah polling 109 votes. Matthew Kyeremeh had 13 and Andy Owusu Osei 12.

Other elected officers include; Richard Dombo, David Osei Yiadoma as first and second Vice Chairmen respectively.

John Kissi, Rob Nayan and Saeed Justin Duah, got elected as Secretary, Assistant secretary and Organizer respectively, with Veronica Hemeng and Justice Appiah Antwi, occupying the Women Organizer and Youth Organizer positions.
