Nana Apata II Donates Land For The Construction Of A Police Station

Following the untimely death of the two police officers of the Central Regional Police Band at Winneba, the chief of Pomadze, Nana Apata II, has donated a plot of land to be used for the construction of a police Station.

He was speaking at a meeting, which was held together with the security personnel within the division, as well as the two District Chief Executives (DCE’s) in the District and also the chiefs of the nearby communities and some of the Assembly Members within the affected area.

The two District Chief Executives (DCE’s), are Mr. Ehunu Armah of Gomoa East and Mr. Nii Ephraim of Winneba.
The parcel of land, which was given by the chief was designated for the construction of a mall in the Pomadze town.

The land released by the Chief, has already been prepared for the said project at hand. The landmark of the plot, has been outlined, as well as the construction of the foundation for the project.

To show commitment for the construction of the police station after the land was released, Nana Apata II, on the day of the meeting again donated 50 bags of cements, 1000 blocks, 2 trips of sand and 1 trip of chippings.

Nana Apata II, also opened a Hundred Ghana Cedi Account as an example for others to follow and donate into the accounts in order to speed up the work.

The other chiefs present and some of the people also promised some items to help with the project.

The Swedru Divisional police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Nana Asomah Hinneh, expressed his outfit’s appreciation for the
kind gesture.

Bishop Stephen Mills, the Executive Director of the Pan African Christian University College (PACUC), also thanked the Chief and promised to also offer some assistance.
