The Deputy Minister of Finance, has donated items to three Constituencies with a call on members to ensure unity in the party for a resounding victory in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections come December 7, 2016.
Mrs Mona Quartey, explained that there was no way for any political party in the country to defeat the National Democratic Congress (NDC), if there is unity in the party, adding that no party can win election with divisions among them.
“We need to work closely together as one people from the same political party in order to retain power come 2016 elections” Mrs Quartey advised.
Mrs Quartey’s support went to Dome Kwabenya and Okaikoi North in the Greater Accra Region, and Krachi Nchurumu, in the Volta Region.
The items were meant to support the party’s campaign activities.
They included Polo shirts, Caps, Umbrellas, Scarfs, headpans and other paraphernalia.
The Deputy Minister of Finance, urged her comrades not to sit on the fence, but to put their shoulders to the wheel to speed up the party’s campaign for a resounding victory come December 7, 2016 elections.
“Please let’s bury our differences so that with a united front, we can develop the NDC and push the government to deliver” she appealed.
The Deputy Minister, is held by constituencies and branch executives, supporters, sympathizers and activists as a team-player and a unifier, who respects divergent views, hates factionalism, selfless, hardworking, and above all humble.
The items were received by the executives of Dome Kwabenya Constituency and John Majisi (MP & PC for Krachi Nchurumu).
Abdul Razak Issah, parliamentary candidate for the Okaikoi North, received the items on behalf of his Constituency.
The other recipients also thanked Mona Quartey. and assured that the items received, would be put to good use to enable the party retain the seat and the presidency.
