Ghanaian company, MenzGold, will today open its first European branch in Spain to meet the demands of a tall list of clientele in the European Market.
Company sources told The Herald yesterday that all was set for today’s event.
MenzGold, had explained that owning to the fact that, there is huge demand for gold in Europe, there is the need to set up an office to satisfy that demand by making MenzGold accessible to the European Market, instead of travelling to Ghana to purchase the precious mineral.
A highly placed source told this paper “all is set … Trusting we have a successful opening”.
The Spain branch of the company, will be known as MenzGold Espana.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, in a short interaction, explained that the move was to boost investors’ confidence in the Ghanaian company.
He disclosed that, Menzgold, was poised to set outdoor offices in other countries in the coming months, to make its presence felt in the global market, as gold dealers want companies they can trust to do business with.
Dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include, Ghana’s ambassador to the Republic of Spain, Elizabeth Adjei, a representative of the Queen of England, among others.
Venue for the event is Avenida de Europa 18 Portal 2 Local 3 Pozuelo de Alarcon, 28224 Madrid at 4pm to 8pm.
