Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, continues to casts doubt on the role of the suspected murderer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa-North, Joseph Kofi KyeretwieBoakyeDanquah-Adualso known as J.B DanquahAdu.

KennedyAgyapong suggests Daniel Aseidu alias “Sexy Don Don” who is on murder trial, might not be the man who killed the legislator this is because there was a lady’s nightie partly soaked with blood at the murder scene in the MPs.

Sexy Don Don” was arrested trying to unlock two mobile phones belonging to the murdered MP and this appears to be his strongest connection to the murder, according to the police investigators.

Meanwhile, the extended family members of the slain MP who last week, marked the third anniversary of his murder have also lamented about the inability of the police to follow up the names and evidence made available to them to nail the real killers of the MP.

The MP had on UTV, saw he spotted a lady’s nightie with blood on the floor when he was invited to the crime scene by the police, adding he had seen enough and cannot be threatened with mere lawsuits from the MPs widow.

“When J.B died, I was called by the police, the sister of JB’s wife called Sheba told me her sister was not even aware the husband was dead. If she was not aware who is the owner of the nightie soaked with blood in the front who does it belong to”, he quizzed.

His comments as the extended family of the late Abuakwa North MP is demanding justice for the death of their son at a solemn event at the private burial place of the late MP, at Old Tafo in the Abuakwa North municipality of the Eastern Region. It marked the third anniversary of his passing.

It is not clear with his widow and children attended the event.

Family Spokesperson George Amoah, at a remembrance ceremony at Akyem Old Tafo called on the president, Nana AddoDankwaAkufo-Addo, to take a personal interest in the matter to unravel the truth surrounding the death and bring justice to them.

“Today is three years someone took his life. Till today, the culprit and those who connived in the act, we haven’t seen them. But JB, have comfort, because if you are in God, you are the winner. Whoever did that, it shall be made open for all to see.”

The family spokesperson was also worried about the political twist on the case and wondered what has been made of initial names and evidences.

“In the initial stages when he died so many evidence unfolded for the police. Names were mentioned, but we don’t hear of them anymore and the case progressed.

Kennedy Agyapong, insists that the country must get to the bottom of the matter because he is a human being revealing he has enough evidence he has to back allegations against widow of the late J.B DanquahAdu, Ivy Heward-Mills.

“Anybody who has been killed in this country is not a dog, we must get to the bottom of the matter.

Ivy Heward Mills, the wife of the late MP for Abuakwa North, JB Danquah-Adu, has sued Kennedy Agyapong and eight others for defamation, demanding 50 million Ghanaian Cedis.

This follows some comments made by the Assin Central MP which suggested that the MP’s wife was having an intimate relationship with the investigative journalist AnasAremeyawAnas.

The widow who considers Agyapong’s comments defamatory decided to drag him to court for redress.

But Mr Agyapong has disclosed that he will not be cowed into submission promising the drill her in court and prove all the allegations levelled against her.

“I can prove to you that Ivy knew Anas since 2015, If Anas thinks he is a good investigator then it’s a lie…I can do proper investigations more than him. Ivy just wants trouble for herself but I’ll show her in court that I’m not afraid of anyone. I’ll die for the truth,” he said.

The family of the late Abuakwa North MP on its part demanded justice for the death of their son.

Family Spokesperson George Amoah, during the remembrance ceremony at Akyem Old Tafo called on President, NanaAkufo-Addo, to take a personal interest in the matter to unravel the truth surrounding the death and bring justice to them.

The brief and solemn ceremony was led by Monsignor Alex Bobby Benson of the Catholic Diocese of Koforidua.

The late MP’s siblings, family and well-wishers were present. They lit up candles and laid wreaths in remembrance of their deceased relative.

The Spokesperson, invoked God to deal with perpetrators of the alleged murder of their beloved son.

“Today is three years someone took his life. Till today, the culprit and those who connived in the act, we haven’t seen them. But JB, have comfort, because if you are in God, you are the winner. Whoever did that, it shall be made open for all to see.”

He became very emotional at this point “sin cannot cloud the light, darkness cannot shine when there is light. Wherever you are, sleep well. As the good book said, it is appointed unto man to die and after that there would be judgement.”

“We are waiting for judgement day, and all those who connived to take your life will be found and God will deal with them.”

Mr.Amoah wants the President, Nana Akufo-Addo to help speed up processes of the case and unravel the truth surrounding the death of their son.

“Today should have been a day that, though we are mourning, we should be mourning peacefully. But that is not to be, till today we are still digging out to find who killed JB. It is worrying. I am pleading with government to help us unravel the mystery surrounding JB’s death.”

He added: “We can never understand ourselves as a family that a personality like JB should die such a death and then three years going, nothing has been done about it.”

He was emphatic failure to find justice and the truth surrounding the alleged murder would set a precedent that people are killed and their assailant left free.

“We are calling on President because of his family ties, otherwise it will serve as a bad precedent in this country, that people die and the killers are free to walk about. It doesn’t augur well for the country.”

The family spokesperson was also worried about the political twist on the case and wondered what has been made of initial names and evidences.

“In the initial stages when he died so many evidence unfolded for the police. Names were mentioned, but we don’t hear of them anymore and the case progressed.

“If the NDC is accusing NPP and NPP is accusing NDC and the truth is not coming out, who should we blame. Where should we put the blame?”

On the plea by the key suspect, Daniel Asiedu, seeking forgiveness from the family, George Amoah said he must open up and speak the truth that only God forgives entirely.

“Hear the guy said we should forgive, we are not God. He must speak the truth nothing but the truth to the judges, so that this mystery would be unravelled and then we know the true killers of JB.”

The late JB Danquah was murdered in his home February 9, 2016.
